How to Add Sub-Users & Grant Team Access to Your Client Portal

Updated 2026-08-14 4 min read

Invite developers, accountants, or team members to access specific parts of your account without sharing passwords.

Sub-User management lets account owners delegate portal access with granular permissions to team members or external web developers.

1. Inviting Team Members

Go to Account Settings > Manage Sub-Users and click Add New Sub-User. Enter your team member's email address and assign a display name.

2. Assigning Granular Permissions

Select specific access rights: View Invoices & Payments for finance personnel, Manage Hosting Services for developers, or Open Support Tickets for support staff.

3. Accepting Sub-User Invitation

The invited member receives an invitation email to create their own sub-user password and log into your account securely.

Implementation Steps

1

Go to Account Settings > Manage Sub-Users

Log into your Client Portal and navigate to Account Settings > Manage Sub-Users.
2

Click Add New Sub-User & Enter Email

Click Add New Sub-User, enter your team member email, and set display name.
3
